Women’s Property Tax Association Seminar

The Women’s Property Tax Association held a lunchtime seminar today in downtown Chicago. The topic was the definition of and valuation of fee simple interest. Over 90 attendees listened as four speakers made presentations and were available for questions and answers.

Cook County rescinds order extending the tax bill due date.

The Cook County Treasurer has rescinded her order of February 28, 2017; which extended the due date of the 1st Installment tax bills to March 2, 2018. The extension order was issued after the Chase Bank tax payment system failed on February 27, 2018. The failure lasted for a period of 36 hours.
