John P. Fitzgerald, Attorney
The principal of the firm and admitted to the Illinois and Wisconsin bar, he is a nationally recognized expert
in the field of state and local taxation.
He has published numerous articles and
has lectured extensively on the subject.
He is a June 1985 graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
Prior to the 1988 opening of his practice, he put his public service time in with stints at
the Cook County Sheriff, Cook County Assessor and the Cook County Recorder of Deeds. Before attending law school,
he worked as a polygraph examiner. The eldest of parents that immigrated from Ireland, he
is a lifelong resident of the city of Chicago.
