Mary Kathleen Fitzgerald, Partner
An alumnus of St. Ignatius College Prep, Mary Kate attended Marquette University where she double-majored in Economics and English. She then attended Loyola University Chicago / Law School graduating in May 2011. While at Loyola, she participated in the Papal Defense Project and authored several papers centered on the writings of St. Augustine. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar on November 10, 2011.
Mary Kate was a founder of the Women’s Property Tax Association; where she served as President 2020 -2022. She has also been recognized by her peers as a Leading Lawyer.
Her specific areas of expertise include practice before various county Boards of Review and the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board; where she has developed a reputation for being a tenacious advocate on behalf of her clients.
